2. I think it's fair to say that nobody could have foreseen what would finally become of Henry Bemis. Henry finally get his wish, time enough at last to read. Discuss the irony that occurs at the end of this short story.
The irony that henry felt is when could finally could read in peace. Unfortunate Henry glasses broke when he about to read a book. Poor Henry without his glasses he could see nothing. He could only see his a pink blur that was his hand He began to cry.
4. Rate the story on a scale on 1-10, 1 being low and 10 being high. Why did you give it this rating?
I give it a 5 out of 10 because it wasn't that exiting. The story is not that "what is going to happen next" type of story. I will say one thing it really makes you interested a little in the beginning of the story because a BOOM happened. Or a nuke if you don't understand.

The irony is that his glasses broke. All he ever wanted is to have enough time to read a book but,his glasses shattered.So this is why it was ironic.

I would give it a 7 out of 10. The reason being is that it gave a good visual . Another reason is that it
did have a very ironic ending when Henry`s glasses shattered.
