(3) The message for this story is "SPEND TIME WITH YOUR FAMILY". I said that because Henry needs to spend more time with his wife then just reading a book everyday. This guy is a crazy man. I'm surprised this guy is still alive from the end.

2. I think it's fair to say that nobody could have foreseen what would finally become of Henry Bemis. Henry finally get his wish, time enough at last to read. Discuss the irony that occurs at the end of this short story. He finally got the perfect time he needed to read a book. However, something unexpected happened. His glasses dropped and broke. How dramatic! I mean, expect the unexpected. He was bawling his eyes out! The ironic thing is, he never had enough time to read a full book and when he did, his glasses dropped and broke!
4. Rate the story on a scale on 1-10, 1 being low and 10 being high. Why did you give it this rating? I would give it a 9 out of 10. To be honest, it’s one of the best stories we’ve read in class. That’s my opinion though. I really liked this story and the twist ending made it even better. It was sad though. That’s kind-of what made me give a nine out of ten. But, it was also a good ending. My favorite part of the story is the ending. Even though it’s sad, it was suspenseful! I love everything about this story. (except for the fact that it was kind-of sad)

#3.So why I think this is quite ironic is he finally has the perfect chance to read his book then his glasses fall and brake so that has a point. That’s the point, to expect the unexpected.
#4.I rate the story as an 8. Because you could kinda see that something ironic was gonna happen. Plus you might of not seen that his glasses were gonna fall and brake. But you could of gathered some information on how he was finally able to read a book, and that everything was destroy except the books.

1. Why did Henry allow his wife to make him watch TV and play games with the neighbors instead of reading? Henry said ''she is a great wife. Also the wife loves watching television every time . The wife thinks watching television is a great entertainment all the time .

Rate the story on a scale of 1-10,1 being low and 10 being high .Why did you give it this rating? In my opinion I would give it an 8 because I love stories with shocking endings . I gave it it's rating because it was kind of shocking how he was the only one left in the planet .In the same time it was also good because he was almost always reading .Reading was he's addiction so he did it .Well it was interesting for me and I think it was fun to read , at the same time I was imagine it .

(5) I rate the story a 5 because Henry wasn't really interesting. Henry was NOT interesting because he would just read a book A LOT of times. Henry didn't even have ANY charactheristics too. The wife Agnes has a weird name,I bet she has a weird last name

The first question I chose was 3. What do you think the message or theme of this story is? I think the message or theme is to respect the time you have because you never know when the time you have is ever going to come again. I also think that the message or theme is to take your time and make the right choice, know when to use your time right. If you read the rest of the story all the way to the end you would understand why we need time. You would see that Henry Bemis just wanted to read a book all the way through but didn't have the chance because his glasses fell and broke so it was something he wouldn't expect and you never know if something that ironic would ever happen to you. That is what I think the message or theme is of the story time enough at last.

2.The ending was ironic because when Henry did get his wish, but then his glasses slipped and broke. He was very dependent on his glasses and couldn't read without them, but at least he finally had enough time.
4.I'd give this story about a 7 because, first of all, I thought he would care for his wife more. He of course knew what had become of her, but I'd think the first place to go would be to your family. Even though that really bothered me, I liked the ironic twist at the end

4. Rate the story on a scale on 1-10, 1 being low and 10 being high. Why did you give it this rating I give this story a 6 because he just imagines thing is because poor eyesight? I also gave 6 because it was moving fast it didn't stay in one stage. Also the some events just went from random places. 3. What do you think the message or theme of this story is? The message or theme is don't do things at inappropriate times. I think that's the theme because if you do things at inappropriate you can get in trouble.

3. What do you think the message or theme of this story is? It had a really twist ending because he droped his glasses. Then he bent down clawing blindly and trying to found his glasses and they were smashed.
4. Rate the story on a scale on 1-10, 1 being low and 10 being high. Why did you give it this rating? I will rate this at a 8 because it was kind of confusing. Also it had a twist ending.

3)I think the message or theme is you should use your time wisely. Also you should do what you suoppose to do not do other things that you are not suppose to. 4)In my point of view I will rate it 1-9 because what I liked was it help me to visualize from its words. Also, what I didn't like was that hennery was bleeding and at the end of the story.

3.) What do you think the message or theme of this story is?
I think the theme was.....That you have to do stuff you like to do because maybe next time you wont be able to do. I think the theme is these because....What happened to henry. He never had enough time to read because he had a problem with his eyes since he was a baby. But when he got older he got glasses and he went to the library and he got books. But when he was going to read his glasses slipped and they broke.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 4.) Rate the story on a scale on 1-10, 1 being low and 10 being high. Why did you give it this rating?
I'd give this story a 8 out of 10.Because I kind of liked the story. I like it because I think it is different from any other story we have read. I think it is different because the other ones talk about monsters and aliens. but this one talks about having enough time.

My second question I chose was 4. Rate the story on a scale on 1-10, 1 being low and 10 being high. Why did you give it this rating? I would give the story a 8 out of 10. I think that because it was bit exciting but not like the other stories we've read. But again i liked it because it had a twist ending. I also liked it because it was ironic like when he was about to read that book and then his glasses fell off so he began to cry that was something ironic that happened in the story right and he never finished the book he wanted to finish. That is what my second question was.
