Sixth graders,
Do me a favor: when you're posting in here, please use proper grammar and punctuation. It's not like text messaging. I don't want you guys to get into the habit of typing like you text. When you make a habit of it--just like any other habit--it's hard to control and you'll do it when you're REALLY not supposed to, such as school assignments, essays, etc.
So, some examples I see you guys do a lot:
r = are
u = you
wat = what (I don't understand why people spell it like that; it's barely shortening it)
2moro = tomorrow
thx = thanks
You guys get what I'm saying?
